American White Pelicans are very much popular in North America and one of the most beautiful water bird in USA and Canada.

Puffins are one of the most beautiful and colorful seabirds. They produce single young, raised in nests built in shallow burrows in the softer soil of cliffs and islands. Puffins are also known as Atlantic Puffins and Pacific Puffins (Horned and Tufted).

Turnstones are migratory seabirds. They have stubby bills which they use to turn over stones and sea wood in search of food. Turnstones are coastal birds which can seen on most of the coastal areas of the world.

Phalaropes are known for their unusual feeding behavior. They have short, slender beaks to pick creatures up from the water’s surface whilst swimming. They are birds of Utah and California (Two of the American States).

Curlew is the largest wader bird of Europe. Curlews have long, curved, narrow beaks for probing deep into mud for worms. They winter on coastal mudflats and river estuaries. They are mostly found on coastal areas of England.

Avocets have thin, long, up-turned bills which they sweep from side to side filtering food from the water. They feed in shallow water. Different species of avocets are found in Australia, Central Asia, Europe and North America.
