Having a body weight of 2.5 to 4.5 pounds, they may weight as little as 1.5 kilograms; it is quite a petite cat. Their body color tan to reddish with the black spots on their whole body while their feet are covered with the wide black strips. As it is obvious from its name the cat has entirely black feet from the bottom. This smallest wild cats breed or species is an amazing hunter, which targets mainly on small mammals and birds weighting equally or slightly more as they have, but also eats insects and reptiles. These smallest cats can track their target even five miles away from shelters. They can spend a huge amount of time without drinking water, moreover most of the time they fulfill their thirst from the target they capture and sometimes by licking dew on long grass. This smallest member from the of cats is found in the arid grasslands of South Africa, Botswana, Namibia and Southern Angola.
